STONE DETAILS

Its name is derived from the Latin words “aqua marina” meaning “sea water” because of its color. It is a silicate mineral and belongs to the cyclopyrite class. It is characterised by a hexagonal crystallisation system and a hardness of 7,5-8 on the Mohs scale.
