Carnelian Carnelian originates from the Latin “Caro” which means “flesh” due t the reddish/brown colouring. This stone belongs to the Quartz family, and is a silicone Dioxide with trace elements of iron ore. It is characterized in the trigonal system, and measures6-7 on the Mohs scale. Carnelian may be obtained in different countries, some of which are Brazil, Russia, Indonesia, Germany and India.

Rose Quartz The name for this mineral was given to it due to the pink color which ranges through all the pinks of the Kaleidoscope. Rose Quartz is a silicon dioxide of the Quartz family. It is characterized by the trigonal crystal system and the hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale. Rose Quartz can be found in different countries including Africa, Brazil, Madagascar, England, Scotland, Australia, Canada, India and the USA.
