Aventurine The name Aventurine comes from the Italian word “a ventura”, which means “by chance “. It is a silicate mineral with Fuchite and Hematite inclusions and it belongs to the quartz family. The Aventurine is characterized by the trigonal crystal system and hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale. It can be found in different countries including India, Brazil, Tanzania, Austria, Spain, Chile and Russia.
